My New Star! by Will Richardson | Jul 30, 2009 | Whitewater | 0 comments By Lauren Burress We picked my brand new PINK Star up in Glenwood Springs, Co. Literally I ran out of Alpine Quest. I was so excited and anxious to paddle it. I hopped in Glenwood Wave and immediately I was doing better cartwheels, bigger roundhouses, (maybe even some blunts) and I was able to hit 3 McNasty’s! After getting in a short session, I met up with my friend Laura Palmer and we paddled down to South Canyon Wave. This was my first time actually catching South Canyon when it was in. I didn’t really know what to expect. There weren’t a lot of people there, and I guess that’s why the wave was so dead. (Lucky me) It was probably one of the more difficult waves I’ve been on. It was a little unpredictable and erratic, but super fun! I can’t wait to catch it again. Thanks for making an awesome boat. Enjoy the pictures.
