Brad Sutton reviews a great year in the Northern Canadian Rockies! Way to go Brad! by Will Richardson | Sep 19, 2009 | Heros, Whitewater | 0 comments October 19, 2009 Photos Hi EJ, This past 2009 paddling season is one to remember so many great rivers and friendly kayakers. I got into the Super Hero this season and fell in love with it with my weight being 190 pounds and 6 feet tall. This season started with the Kananaskis River Festival which was a blast with friends new and old. A run on Cataract Creek and then headed to the Fraser Fest which was another surprise with a classic class 4/5 run with Mount Robson in the background one of the highest mountains in British Columbia. And then a few runs on the Seven Canyons of Toby Creek to finish the season. And when I thought all was said and done I was able to get in a First Descent of Numa Falls in British Columbia. I had scouted Numa Falls one weekend on a paddling trip to Seven Canyons but Numa Falls was just a little too low and then the following weekend it was at the perfect flow. Thomas Crawford and Ben Clark set up saftey for me and I would like to send out a big thanks. Here are a few photos from an amazing paddling season with the Super Hero and a link to a thread on Calpaddle finding out that my run on Numa Falls was a first descent. Thanks for making such a versatile river runner I really enjoyed it! See you on the river soon! Brad Sutton Submit a Comment Cancel replyYour email address will not be published.
