Photos from the Big Wave Gatineau!

Summer rains brought up the water on the Gatineau to epic flows!
I’ve gotten there twice in the past week, and paddled to exhaustion
both times. Not only are there incredible waves to surf in the first
rapid (Lucifer’s), BUT my all-time favorite wave lives just
downstream. It’s called HIGH TENSION and it’s the smoothest,
steepest, most beautiful wave ever!!! Ever trick is possible–
several times a ride! Enjoy some photos shot by some jerk and
Jessica. Nick should be putting up a video soon with some sweet
tricks (high hand back-airscrew, our Wave Monkeys, my superclean
spins to helix).
