Annie and Zack check in after a winter in Central America

Hey Everyone!

Zack and I are just back from an awesome winter spent in Central
America. Although we didn’t focus on kayaking, we still managed to
get paddling on some rivers in Costa Rica (thanks to our friend José
at Liquid Skills for his precious help). We met up with the staff at
H20 in Quepos for a run of the Chorro section of the Naranjo River
which doesn’t disappoint! We then headed to Turrialba and got in our
boats to run a few classics runs around.

For the next two and half months we traded kayaks for surfboards and
surf our way up the Pacific Coast (Nicaragua, El Salvador and
Guatemala with a short break to explore the lush forests of Honduras).

The trip is now over and we’re back on the Ottawa River where we
were welcome with fresh snow and high water levels!
