Winter Arrives in Montana!!!!!!!!!

After a mild fall, winter hits Montana! It was a great fall paddling in Montana. We’ve had great water levels, mild temps and a new feature to play in downtown Missoula (Middle Channel Bennan’s wave: otherwise called “The High Dive”).

Bammm! How fast things change in Montana. The Picture without snow is on a Friday and the ice pics are from the next day. It’s time to start building the ice boof again (See pics in bio)_hopefully we can even make it bigger this year! In case anyone is wondering what temp. is to cold to paddle, I think 10 degrees maybe the cut off. Really it just depends on if the river isn’t froze solid or not-ha. If a hot shower is required to get your gear off, you know it’s cold! Paddlers from Montana are insane!
