Fly Fishing From a Jackson Bite Angler by simonmuller | Feb 26, 2020 | Austria, Bite, Fishing Feature, Fly Fishing, Internationalisation | 0 comments Fly Fishing From a Jackson Bite Angler A few weeks ago I took my new Bite Angler and my Coosa HD for a nice trip to the legendary Bodden in Germany. My brother Sam and I met there with some really nice guys form Germany and Sweden for some great winter-pike-fishing. It was a good chance to test out the Bite Angler and as always I fished fly only. During the last years I had the opportunity to test many different Jackson Kayaks and I always used them fishing with my fly rods. The Bite is exactly what I was looking for!! It is easy to paddle, awesome stability, light and easy to transport to the water, and the wide open deck is nearly tangle-free. I like that there are no straps needed to fix the seat. The seat is very comfortable and the kayak is so perfect for fly fishing. I have never used a GPS or sonar, so it’s so easy to get the kayak prepared for the water. I just take it from the roof of my car, grab my flyrod, paddle, drift anchor and anchor and I am ready to go. That’s kayak fishing!
