World Cup Rankings after World Cup 2 in Germany by Will Richardson | Sep 27, 2008 | Whitewater | 0 comments August 27, 2008 We are about to start the World Cup Final Event here in Thun Switzerland. In case you are following your favorite paddlers, it would be helpful to know their rankings and scores after the first two events. The way the system works is simple. Each event you earn points based on your place. Whoever has the most points after the three events wins. The final event is the tie breaker. If two people have the same points after Thun, then the highest placing person at Thun, the final event, wins. The point values work like this. 1st- 100 2nd- 95 3rd- 90 4th- 85 5th- 80 6th-75 7th-74 8th-73 9th-72 10th-71 And so forth. Here are the standings so far… World Cup Rankings (PDF) EJ Submit a Comment Cancel replyYour email address will not be published.
