Calleva’s of Washington DC Host Dane Jackson Live on FB by James McBeath | May 4, 2020 | Dealer, Dealer News | 1 comment Please join us on May 8th at 1 EST on the Calleva FB live: https://www.facebook.com/CallevaLA/ For almost 30 years Calleva has been a leader in the outdoor industry, focusing on learning through adventure in the Washington DC area. Our kayak school was founded by whitewater legend Tom McEwan, and it has grown into what is now the Calleva River School. Throughout the years Tom and his team of amazing instructors have introduced countless folks to the joys of kayaking, led paddling trips and excursions around the world, and have produced some of the best paddlers in the country. Today Calleva continues its legacy of outdoor education, has grown to provide professional development programs in association with the American Canoe Association, and continues to lead paddling trips to Canada, Mexico, and across the US. Calleva’s River School can take you from your first day in a kayak, to running you first waterfall, with programs and offerings for all skill levels. One of the things that sets Calleva apart from others is their innovative mobile programming options, allowing our groups to go wherever the adventures may be, or bring the excitement directly to you. In addition to our mobile options we also have some amazing “classroom” settings including our River School office that sits at the confluence of Seneca Creek and the Potomac River at Riley’s Lock. It offers plenty of flatwater options for our brand new students, as well as some whitewater for when our paddlers are ready to step up. Calleva also has a fantastic demo program offering the best kayaks on the market, as well as a retail shop just up the road. It’s the perfect place to try and buy your next Jackson Kayak. 1 Comment James Pumphrey on March 21, 2021 at 6:42 pm Interesting in taking the school Reply Submit a Comment Cancel replyYour email address will not be published.
