Nor-Cal Update by Will Richardson | Mar 4, 2008 | Rockers, Whitewater | 0 comments By Darin McQuoid Hey guys, after a month of heavy snow things have finally started to warm up here on the Oregon/California border. Still busy riding five days a week a work, motivation has been high and on the weekends and I’ve been getting out on some of the classics up here, many involving hiking through snow and other typical late winter paddling conditions. One weekend I also got talked into a fun day of wakeboarding in chilly water, but it wasn’t too bad with a drysuit on. I’ve been primarily paddling the Punk Rocker this spring, and with its confidence inspiring design combination of great secondary stability, ride over everything bow and sweet outfitting, I instantly felt at home in the PR after the last frozen month I spent without paddling. I’m looking forward to the snowmelt and complete freedom for paddling in five weeks, – Darin Darin on the SF Salmon Home Sweet Home Kaesen Wakeboarding Matt SF Salmon Mt Shasta Sf Salmon Testing jumps at work Submit a Comment Cancel replyYour email address will not be published.
