San Luis Potosi: Steepness, turquoise water and snakes by Will Richardson | Nov 26, 2007 | Whitewater | 0 comments By Rafael Ortiz The state of San Luis Potosi has to be one of the top destinations for boaters looking for steepness, warmth, and gorgeous turquoise water. Only 6 hours from the border, it is a must for American boaters running away from the cold winter. This past weekend, I went on a little adventure with family and friends, to paddle some of what SLP has to offer. Travertine rock makes the vertical drops so damn clean! The color of the water is unique, and the jungle surrounding makes the experience complete. Check out the pictures, enjoy, and say hello to this little friend that ended on my boat! Rafa O.
