Jen Kellerman makes the Regional Team by Will Richardson | Sep 21, 2007 | 2010 Fun, Whitewater | 0 comments October 21, 2007 I met Jen about two years ago and watched her progress from a 1st time beginner to a great paddler, and most importantly, to a great ambassador for paddling. We are very fortunate to have a her on the team, and in our paddling community! Name: Jennifer Kellerman Born: 24 June 1975 Paddling Since: 2005 Hometown: Beachburg On ‘582’ Height: 5’5" Weight: 135 lbs Favourite River: Upper Gauley, Ottawa 2007 Canadian Squirt Team Member Worldkayak.com Ottawa River Ambassador Peak UK/US Team Manager I started paddling 2 years ago on the Ottawa River after knee surgery from a cross-Canada cycling trip, as a replacement for cycling and running. In these 2 years, I have become addicted to whitewater, and my Jackson Kayaks have helped me progress as fast as I have. I have paddled 32 different rivers ranging from class III to V, and am always looking for new adventures! I am now at a point where I am able to help get other people as excited about kayaking as I am, and still fresh enough to remember what it was like learning new skills. I am here to represent the average boater, and provide stories, advice, skills clinics for those who aspire to progress and push their limits. I have been Jackson Kayak’s biggest fan since I bought my first 2Fun in 2005, and am eager to share my passion with anyone who wants to catch it!
