Nationals at KWP Cadet Class- win a free JK by Devon Barker | Jul 4, 2012 | Kid's Kayaks, Whitewater | 0 comments Here at Kelly’s Whitewater Park (KWP) we’ve been training some cadets for the upcoming Nationals event. Brent LaFay, Devon Barker-Hicks, & myself have been training students as park of Kelly’s Kayak Academy at KWP. The second feature is perfect for learning to throw loops and cartwheels. I’ve been having a great time teaching these kids, who are great students. I only wish I’d had a place like this when I started play boating. The progress they’ve made in the last three weeks has been fun to watch and neat to be a part of. This July, the cadet class will be sponsored by Jackson Kayak, and the winner will get a free Jackson boat of their choice. So if you’re debating on competing or not, remember, what have you got to lose? And you’ve potentially got a kayak to gain! Hope to see you at here on July 7th and 8th. Event information can be found at http://www.kellyswhitewaterpark.com/blog/index.html A short video of the classes here at KWP: Hope to see you there!
