A Ladies Day in the Coosa

Donna Coleman and I got to spend a week at Lake Texoma in Oklahoma last week paddling and fishing out of our Coosa’s.  The weather was perfect and the fish were biting!  Highly recommend this lake for fishing during the month of May if you ever get the chance.  We caught striper, bass, catfish, drum, perch and buffalo.  We both like to use ultra-light fishing gear with 6 lb test line, and that made even the big fat perch we caught fun to bring in and extremely exciting bringing in the bigger fish.  My heart was pumping hard!

      Haha, I’m always up for a challenge but dang those ladies can fish! They got me scared to take that challenge! Nice going ladies! 🙂

    Great catch Ladies…. Those Coosa’s will get you where you need to fish …. Praying I get the chance to get into catching fish like you two….
