Blasting Blues by jimrussell | Apr 29, 2014 | Fishing, Saltwater Fishing, Video | 0 comments Ocean was super flat so my buddy Joe and I took advantage to go hunt and explore in shallower in an area where usually it is too rough and surgy… I didn’t find any monsters, but the Blue Rockfish were thick and chunky so I helped myself. One of the Blues was a nice DOTY upgrade and a tie for my Personal Best at 16.5 inches. Cabezon, Ling and Olive Rockfish were also taken and I got a nice monkeyface eel at the last spot on the way back in. Joe got a monster olive and chased a big sheephead for awhile. Was on the JK Cruise12 and it handled itself really well launching/landing, navigating some choppy whitewater in and around pinnacles, and overall I really like it as a dive platform! Here is a little vid and a few pics. Sincerely, Jim Submit a Comment Cancel replyYour email address will not be published.
