Surfing at Kelly’s Whitewater Park by teamjk | Feb 12, 2010 | Whitewater | 0 comments By Devon Barker I had the first surf in Kelly’s Whitewater Park yesterday. I cannot believe it is here! The photo of the island and feature four is from a couple weeks ago while under construction. The rest of the photos are from yesterday. We surfed with about 300 to 400 cfs. The features are already fun to surf. I cannot wait for more water. After surfing we had a Town Hall meeting. We had almost 300 people with standing room only. Jim Litchfield and Gary Lacey, along with the Board of Kelly’s Whitewater Park spoke to the community about the new park. Yadi and I spoke about the kayak school and I announce our event schedule for this spring and summer. I cannot tell you how excited I am. I loved traveling to Australia and New Zealand but having a whitewater park out your back door cannot be beat! Come surf with us in Cascade, Idaho!
