Largemouth Bass Fishing in the Jackson Kayak Coosa FD

An early summer morning out on the Jackson Coosa FD. This time of year I am always trying to fish during low light periods to take advantage of prime feeding times while avoiding the heat of summer. In this video you’ll see a few different techniques to target Largemouth bass during the dog days of summer. I started out the day fishing a popper, transitioned to a squarebill, and ended the day tossing a football head jig. These tactics provided a limit of largemouth as well as a bonus catfish that hit my popper!
