Hard to believe it will soon be 2019! This year I competed in more competitions, ran new rivers, and learned some new tricks! This year I learned to blunt, flatwater loop, flatwater cartwheel, and am starting to get my Mcnasty. I have a total of 10 personal first descents this year. In the spring I traveled from the South East to Colorado and competed in Nationals and Paddlefest. In the summer I toured around Canada paddling in Quebec and Ontario. We made a trip down to the South East again, paddling at NOC and Pigeon Hole. I even able to go to Keeners this summer! To top it all off this fall, my local river, the Potomac has been unusually high! 2018 has been one of the best, filled with new rivers and great memories.

In 2019 my biggest Goal is to make the USA Junior National Team in Freestyle and Slalom. I also want to nail my McNasty’s on both sides, learn to Airscrew, cartwheel and split wheel. I want to do some more creeking this year and learn to run waterfalls. I hope to go to Europe this summer to compete in ECA slalom races and freestyle competitions as well.
Peace Out 2018!
