Reply Troy Anderson on January 10, 2011 at 2:38 am Hey there, I have an event in Australia called Sale to Sea. It’s a sea kayaking challenge for those with a disability to get out and kayak. One sport that nearly any one can do. We raise money for Limbs4life and hopefully a paralympian for the 2012 Paralympics. Four days, 130km approx and amputees, sight restricted, mentally and physically challenge paddlers galour. Last time we raised 10000 dollars. We are hoping to smash it this time with larger crew entering, corporate sponsors helping and fundraising ideas like an auction dinner and golf day. You can see a yet to be updated website at http://www.saletosea.com.au. Last year two if us crossed Lake King in 45 knit winds with a 2 foot chop doing its best to deter us. My mate Andrew, an amputee achieved so much that day. Look forward to it this year round Cheer Troy Anderson Reply Emily Jackson on January 10, 2011 at 4:12 pm Hey Troy! That event sounds incredible! Sounds like you are doing some great work! We love people that get others into the water that might not have the chance otherwise! Way to go! Good luck with this years fund raising and keep up the inspirational work! $10,000 is no easy feat!
