Eric Seymour Shares his Winter Fun! by Eric Seymour | Jan 31, 2011 | Whitewater | 0 comments Every morning I get up, put coffee on, check the temperature outside, and stoke the fireplace. Today the temperature was minus five degrees. Tomorrow we are expecting a high of two degrees. I look out the window and see a winter wonderland. Everything is covered in snow. Our snow pack in Wyoming is great. We are above 110 percent snow pack everywhere in the state with some areas boasting a 140 percent. I know the snow will eventually melt and the rivers will be full with rushing water. For now I have to be patient. The time will come when I will be in my kayak everyday. I am getting really excited to try out the new Super Hero. With difficult access to a lot of rivers in Wyoming a light boat to carry will be a blessing on my shoulders. I am lucky enough to enjoy the crystallized water in the mountains during the winter. Below is a short video I made playing in the fresh snow this week. In a few months, I will be playing in the river on the same snow in its liquid form. I can barely wait. http://www.vimeo.com/19179664 Eric Seymour Submit a Comment Cancel replyYour email address will not be published.
