15 year old Lizzi Hossack from England takes her first trip to the Alps

hey EJ,

my name is lizzi hossack, im 15 and live in the UK. ive been paddling about
4 years but never had the chance to paddle outside the UK, so it was an
amazing opportunity when my local youth canoe club started planning a trip
to the french alps.
we spent two weeks in the french alps paddling rivers such as the guil,
gisanne and l’argentiere slalom course. i had such a good time there, learnt
loads more about river running and surfing, managed to get my 4star, and
generally improved my confidence on moving water.
my favourite river was the guisanne, which was continuous grade 3/4. it was
really immense and amazing fun.

i also just wanted to say thanks for such amazing boats, i love taking my
fun surfing and down rivers, but am looking into getting a star or an
all-star so i can start playboating.
