Check out Nick Troutman receiving his Outdoor Idol award from Ed
Viestors and Eugene Buchanan. After the award there was a relay race in the
pool between the young idols and the more seasoned veterans. Nick and I
lead off in a head to head battle that ended up in a wrestling match.

After OR, Kristine, Emily, Dane, and I drove to southern Utah to Duck Creek
where ATV trails in the summer and snowmobiles in the winter are what this
place is all about. We have been riding at least 100 miles per day on a
combination of easy trails (getting out of Duck Creek), medium trails, and
some sweet technical trails. Kristine’s brother Scott, and his wife Patty
set the thing up and brought their motorcycles (KLM 200!). It was a great
three days of heavy riding. I am just warming up after the second day of
returning in hail, rain, and lightning. We rode to a cool cave on one of
the easier trails yesterday!
