Norway Daze

Enjoy some days in Norway before the World Cup I’ve had the opportunity to teach and train in the land of tall green mountains and deep blue waters. My first week I spent teaching and playing with a group of ladies: Americans, Canadians but mostly Norwegians. It was awesome to watch skills develop alongside international friendships. The progress these ladies made over the course of a week was awesome. I’m still not sure which day saw more improvement the day of flatwater and surfing or the day dedicated to boofing. Either way these ladies walked away with a whole new outlook on boating.

This week I’ve had a chance to paddle and train with local, Mariann Saether. Showing me her backyard runs and playspots too. You’d be surprised – Norway has some great waves!

Off to Prague on Monday to start the first event of the World Cup. Can’t wait to meet up with the team!
