Hey EJ,

I’m not sure if you have been following the story on this 15 year old kid named Sam, but to make a long story short he had his boat (a Jackson Star) stolen of his buddy’s car last Wed (8-2-06). Sam is from a low income family and does not have enough money to get a new boat. From what I hear he is an awesome boater! A few of us from Paddlers for Christ would like to set up a trust fund for him to get another boat. We figured if we could get 50 to 100 people to donate $5-$15 each. The kid would have enough money to purchase a new Star. Would you let Carmen manage this account? Because I think the dealer would be the most trusted person to handle the money and more people would feel charitable about giving to you all instead of an individual. I have a voice mail into Carmen about this situation too. Thanks for your time and help in advance. Please let me know your thought so we can put this plan into action.
