Somebody asked me about my pets- here they are by Will Richardson | Dec 4, 2004 | Whitewater | 0 comments December 4, 2004 Photos In 1990, Emily was born and she got a beautiful Dalmatian puppy named Pebbles from Santa. In 1993, Dane was born and that Christmas he got a beautiful Dalmatian puppy named Target. Then in 1997 we moved into our RV for five years with our awesome dogs that do lots of cool tricks. They are incredibly well behaved, at least until lately now that Pebbles is getting old, she is getting a little lazy in doing what she is told. In 2002, we moved to Rock Island, a place we call the ranch. Well, a ranch must have more than two animals, so the numbers started increasing rapidly. First off we got several cats. Three of them got either eaten by a stray dog, run over by a car, or magically disappeared. Finally, we have settled into a perfect three cats. Captain, Tigger, and Tori. Captain is quite affectionate and will pet you if you don’t pet him. He spends quite a lot of time on the kitchen table feeding off the heat of the laptops during the business day. Tigger is a bouncing boy like in Winnie the Poo, hence his name. He is the orange cat. Tori is a climber and likes to go on long hikes with us. She is by far the most unique cat I have ever known, demanding attention, offering affection, and very human like. She is named after Tori Allen the superstar rockclimber. Then we have Reilly. Reilly wandered up to the ranch one day as an 8 week old puppy and we decided that we would take her to the pound. Kristine wanted to wait one day to feed it and that pretty much means that we have a new pet. Reilly is a Mountain Cur. Check it out online- it is a southeastern hunting dog, not AKA accepted, but a breed non- the less. Well, she is unbelievably wonderful dog. She has been known to hunt rabbits, but mostly just mice, moles, and rats. Kristine always wanted to have horses, so here we are with three of them. Anne (black one), Jack (big brown one), and Dosey (small quarter horse). They are fun watch run around the fields, as well as to ride, but we haven’t done much riding this fall yet. Finally, we bought Kristine’s mom a black lab puppy to keep Reilly company. His name is Moe. His nickname is Osama Bin Labin, because he is a terror in the night. Well that is it, and her they are, for anybody interested. 🙂 EJ Submit a Comment Cancel replyYour email address will not be published.
