EJ gets to race in the Pre-Australian Slalom Race in a new Sweet 3.73 (shorter slalom boat)!

I finally got to race in the 2000 Olympic Slalom Race
Course in a slalom boat! Although I am here to train for the World Freestyle
Championships, I couldn’t turn down the opportunity to race!

I did an OK first run, my first time doing gates, and
my first time in this boat. However, my second run was really good and
clean, and only a few seconds behind the best international boaters here.
I ended up 10th, but my second run was good for 4th, cool, 60 k-1 paddlers
here.
