Check out the photos of the new bulkhead in the Rocker!
The base is a bomb proof front wall with dual laminated stiffening plates,
that act as sliders for the bulkhead. Then the bulkhead is made of 6061
alluminum made to be light and stiff. Add a U-channel over the front of
the wall with the same cleat as on our 2005 backband for the adjustability
and you have a bulkhead that you can easily adjust from inside the boat
with no screws to lose, and no leaky holes! Easily go from one person
to another, perfect for any kayak school too! The best things sometimes
take time to make but I hope it was worth the wait!
