Each year my favorite clinic weeks are teaching at
the premier whitewater destination for playboating, the Ottawa. The kayak
school is Ottawa Kayak School, which boasts the biggest and best facilities
in Canada, and some of the best kayakers and teachers have come out of
this school. I am teaching two 5 day clinics. The second one has spots
available, the first one is full.

Dates:

July 4th-July 8th

Fly into Ottawa City, 90 minutes from the river and
rent a car and drive there on Sunday night. Three hot meals per day (including
lunch on the river!!!), hot tubs, warm water, two bars, cabins or camping,
an awesome staff, a kayak school jet boat party on Thursday night (they
pick us up at the bottom of the last rapid and we have a bar-b-que on
the boat, with free beer and wine on a sunset cruise!) Level of paddlers
in my clinic vary but are usually intermediate (have a roll, working on
playboating, river running) meaning that I can customize the instruction
for each paddler to get what they want from the clinic. Also, we’ll
make a cool video from Thursday’s day on the river of the whole
kayak school group that will be available for $30 Canadian.
