Sam Manzer, age 14, learns just how much a generous person can improve their lives by Will Richardson | Sep 28, 2005 | Whitewater | 0 comments September 28, 2005 Hey EJ, My name is Sam Manzer, I’m 14, and I live in Chattanooga, TN. I have had a very fortunate paddling career. One day a guy named Greg Mccourt moved in next door with an old Jeep and a Dagger Ego. The next thing I know I’m at the lake learning to roll. He ended up giving me the kayak, after buying a fun for himself, in exchange for watching his dog, good deal. He also lent some extra gear. That was about 4 months ago, now I pratically live at Hell-Hole. One day when I was there, there was a guy, Josh Brock, paddling an All-Star and we got to talking. He took one look at my gear or "ghetto gear" as some call it and realized I’m not a rich kayaker. So he just gave me the kayak and went to work. The reason I’m e-mailing you is to let you that your boats and eyployees are great! So thanks for everything! -Sam Manzer- Submit a Comment Cancel replyYour email address will not be published.
