Canoe Kayak Magazine, the largest of the kayak magazines,
focusing on perhaps 30% whitewater and 70% touring and recreational kayaking
will begin publishing technique articles by my kids and I. Today I submitted
my first articles. They will be technique articles on the Seal Launch
and the Macho Move. It was a good day for taking photos at the Caney Fork
River here in Rock Island. We just happen to have some AWESOME seal launches.
High enough to get the adrenaline flowing in even the most seasoned paddlers,
or low enough for the beginner. The Macho Move is an air loop over a wave
heading downriver. It is my favorite downstream move in the river.

Check out these photos I took of Clay and Dane doing
the Seal Launch, and that Clay took of me doing the Macho Move.
