Over the last few years I have thought about helping kids in Africa but the question was always “How?” I still ask myself this question almost daily. I believe I am one of the luckiest people in the world and I want less fortunate people to have a chance to feel as lucky as I do. The kids in Africa have taught me that happiness is simply going to bed with a full stomach, being educated and being healthy. My goal with raising money is to try and provide these necessities to as many children as I possibly can because they deserve to feel as lucky as I do. I am proud to say that we have raised almost $8,000 which allows to me to help provide better education and health for over a thousand kids. With $4,000 thousand dollars I am paying for a doctor to work in Jessie’s health clinic for one whole year. So far I have donated $3,000 dollars to help refurbish a school that houses 1,000 kids. The school house only has 10 rooms and 5 are cement while the others are dirt. I am super happy to say that while I was there they were in the process of refurbishing the remaining 5 school rooms that will provide better education for over 500 kids. In order to finish the school they need an additional $2,000 which I am trying to raise. I am also trying to put a playground in near Jessie’s clinic; so the children can be kids!

One thing I know for sure is I couldn’t do it alone and I am incredibly grateful for the donations I have received. Thank You All So Much! I feel so lucky to have friends like you! For those of you who haven’t made a donation yet here is your chance to make a difference in the world.
