North America’s Top Female Paddler, Ruth Gordon, joins Team Jackson Kayak!

I have known Ruth since she was in her early teens, working at Wilderness Tours on the Ottawa, and learning to paddle. In the past 5 years she has been on a steep climb in her personal and professional paddling career. A good friend of the Jackson family, and a joy to be around, Ruth is the perfect addition to our Team. Ruth has extensive instructional , sales and marketing , big water, and competition experience. She has her sights set on turning her passion for paddling into a lifestyle and a chance to see just how high she can fly in the competition world as well. Ruth noted that she is exactly the same size as Emily, which pretty much gaurentees that she will never have to worry about having a boat built just for her (since I will always have a boat that is just right for Emily, or three boats: Hero, Star, 2 Fun)

Look for Ruth on a river near you, and don’t be afraid to ask her for pointers, she is always ready with a helping hand.
