Pink Fun 1.5 review by a dad of a 9 year old daughter, Kori

I wanted to write in to thank you for the "Pink" Fun 1.5 I recently purchased for my daughter.

I have been paddling for the past three years and absolutely love it! Last year I took my 9 year old daughter, Kori, down our local river called the "Coosa" a couple of times. She paddled a sit-on-top by herself and I could see how much she enjoyed it. On one of the trips we paddled with some friends from Louisiana, Jay and Sam. Sam has a "Pink" Fun that Kori saw. That was it! Kori was hooked!! My wife and I talked with Kori about it during the winter. It was settled, we all agreed that I would work with her in a sit-in kayak in 2006.

We ordered the "pink" fun 1.5 and suprised her for her 10th birthday. Kori was excited and I haved already started working with Kori on her roll. I’ve enclosed some pictures.

Thank you for giving me the oppurtunity to share a hobby that I am very passionate about, with Kori and giving my relationship with my daughter a chance to grow closer. I know in business the Fun 1 and 1.5 may not be the profitability boats in production numbers, but definitely are for a Parent(s)/Child(s) relationship.

Kori and I look forward to seeing you April 1 & 2 on the Coosa River for Karen & Lonnie’s Southern Trails 30th Anniversary. I have already had Kori watch your video EJ’s Rolling and Bracing and we are making frequent trips to the pool. Hopefully you or Emily could give Kori some pointers to help with her roll.
