Hi Eric,

What can I say, yesterday was a milestone in my son Zachary’s paddling career.

We went out to the Champlain bridge (the wall) yesterday and spent 2 and a half hours of good times.
Zachary took his Fun 1.5 and showed us what he could do with it. It is his first time surfing bigger features on his own.
As his dad, I could not be more proud.
As a paddler I am jealous (in a good way. When the student exceeds the teacher you know you did something right!).
It won’t be long till he smokes me and I will be following him.
The comments from the seasoned paddlers and the spectators (a nice day draws a good crowd there) about Zach and his form and future where very encouraging. The kid has a lot of fun and the happy noise he was making on the water sure showed it.
Did I say I was proud….
I got to put the 4Fun through the wash too and had a great time.

Check out the pics.
