I must admit that building a house is easier than I thought,
especially since I left in April with a foundation, and returned to what you
see here with no issues! Tennessee seems to be the home of some quality
manufacturing companies. Heritage Log Homes was chosen by us after several
years of looking at model homes and reading log home magazines. Keith
Perryman has been overseeing the building of the house and Weasel has been
the framer in charge and although it is his first log house, he is hooked on
them. The solid log construction, big beams, and general stoutness of the
house is something that makes it feel right the moment you walk in.

I am home for 10 days and then we are back in the RV until we return here
for the World Cup in September. I almost can’t wait to go and come back
again and see where it is then!
