Super Hero Review from Reno area by Will Richardson | Jun 24, 2006 | Heros, Whitewater | 0 comments June 24, 2006 EJ, I just spent the past couple weeks looking for a good river running boat. I was able to demo dagger’s mamba, pyranha’s burn, and wavesport’s diesel. In my opinion, your Super Hero out performed them all in a bunch of different categories – rolling, stability, and comfort to say a few. I just bought one yesterday and I think it is lighter than my playboat. My considerably smaller paddling buddy used the super hero and in less than a minute of changes it was good to go for me. She is also VERY new to the sport of kayaking. At the Reno Whitewater Festival she took the hour long woman’s clinic which turned into a 15 minute kayaking clinic and 45 minutes of swimming lessons. Needless to say she found the Super Hero to be more then adequate for a beginner, she dominated class two whitewater and was eddy hopping like a champion. I’m going to try to get all my friends into the sport using the Super Hero. And, having an outfitting system that is so easy to change puts a huge smile on my face because I know that it won’t take long for me to re-adjust the boat to my liking. Thanks for the innovative thinking. Paul Submit a Comment Cancel replyYour email address will not be published.
