Kayak Volunteers needed for Washington, DC Triathlon by Will Richardson | Sep 11, 2006 | Whitewater | 0 comments September 11, 2006 The Nation’s Triathlon is looking for kayak volunteers to assist swimmers competing in Washington, DC’s first ever triathlon! We are expecting over 500 swimmers and need kayaks to be there to support them. The swim starts at 7am at the Washington Harbor Waterfront in Georgetown so Kayakers need to be at the downstream side of the Washington Harbor Pier by 6:30am. The swim ends at 9:30am. We are looking for 35-40 kayakers to help us with the event. Everyone gets a cool T-Shirt and the chance to participate in this great inaugural event. The website to visit is http://thenationstriathlon.com. They would clock the volunteer link, fill out the info sheet and put Jackson Kayaker in the message box. We will contact them asap. Thanks alot. I’ll look forward to seeing you out there! If you have any questions please call me on the number below.
