The Green River Race Report by Will Richardson | Nov 8, 2006 | Whitewater | 0 comments By Brad Sutton The Green River Race went off with out a hitch, things went smooth and I had a great time meeting old friends and competing in my first ever Green River Race! This kayak extreme race starts at the top of Frankenstein and finishes at the bottom of Rapid Transit the last slide after Gorilla. My time was slow for my first race in the short boat class at 6:16, hopefully next year I will do better. There were one hundred and twenty six competitors this year, double the competitors from last year according to organizer Jason Hale. I would like to thank the organizers Jason, Shane and Woody, for hosting a fun and exciting event, and will definitely be back next year to improve my time. Here are a few photos from the Green Race shot by Ben Edson from Downstreamphoto.com check his web site, Ben has many amazing shots from the Green River Race!
