Jesse Coombs Reports from the North Fork of the Rogue River

Ben and I are traveling and kayaking with Thayer Walker. Thayer is
writing a story for Men’s Fitness that will be about us training him
to make the jump from class 4 to class 5 kayaking. We are in the
first week of this training and went to the North Fork of the Rogue
river. Would you believe that lounging in the sun at the put in
waiting for his friends to run shuttle was fellow Jackson Kayak team
member Darin McQuoid? It is amazing how the river will bring friends
together randomly like that. We had a great time paddling with Darin
and his friends and had an awesome day. I can’t give up too much
detail on the Men’s Fitness article and how it is going, but
definitely keep an eye out for the article. When I know the publish
date I’ll write a post about it.
