I am so thankful to BSU Outdoor Program and Alpenglow Kayak Shop for having me present last night and for sponsoring the pool session for my Women in Whitewater Presentation. We had 49 women and their supporters at the presentation and 59 at the pool session. Jackson Kayak, old.jacksonkayak.com, gave a dozen pink JK visors for the first 12 women who came to the presentation. I had no idea there would be so many people at the presentation.

Chuck Cremer from Alpenglow, www.alpenglowidaho.com, supported the presentation and had Jackson Kayaks for us for the pool session. Chuck has a great store and supportive staff to answer all of your kayaking questions and to get you into all the right equipment.

I have to thank Jesse Sears from the BSU Outdoor program for hosting my presentation. Jesse is committed to getting more people into the sport of kayaking. It was really nice to work with him as our visions for people enjoying paddling are the same. I am so glad I was able to come and share my kayaking adventures and encourage others in Idaho to get out and paddle.

The Idaho Paddling Kids showed up as well. They have been sending me kayaking photos but last night I got to meet them and see all their moves in the pool. It was great. The back deck roll was the hot item to learn last night. It was so fun teaching these kids as they are ready to learn everything from A to Z as long as it has to do with kayaking. One paddler told me that his teacher is trying to get Jesse Combs to come and visit their classroom. That is pretty cool!

I am off to Spain for the Surf Kayak Worlds in the Basque Land. Visiting BSU Outdoor Program was the perfect send off from Idaho to Spain.
