Semi-Finals at World Surf Kayak Championships

Erik Miller and I are on to the Final Four! We are also still competing for the team to make the final-four team competition as well. The Basque Country Team is in first. They are all competing so well. I was to compete at the famous Mundaka Wave but the wave was only in for a short time. I was sad it was canceled but we are rescheduled for today! The left hand break is fast and is right at the river mouth.

I got a 44 in my Semi-final heat. I had two finish moves on the beach break where I did cartwheel ends and landed in the sand. The winning score was 44.5. Valerie from Canada also made the final four. My family, friends, and relatives are here and we went to a wonderful Basque Dinner last night. The restaurant/ museum was called Zintziri Errota jatetxea & Museoa. The dinner was for the competitors, family, and organizers of the event.

I cannot believe that I am in the Basque Country! Truly, a dream.
