Park and Play surfing in the Basque Land by Will Richardson | Nov 17, 2007 | Whitewater | 0 comments Photos By Devon Barker Greetings everyone from Idaho, I am back home in Idaho and about adjusted from the jet lag. Here’s all the information you need if you want to go rafting or surfing on the River Nive in the Basque Land. My family went rafting but the surf wave looked great and I hope to go back next summer after the World Cup 2008 ends in Europe. Maybe you could join me? Speaking of joining me, Cat’s Paw wave on the Salmon River is great right now. I did a little soul surfing yesterday but would love to have some company. This wave has eddies on both side and a great pile. It is only cold for a second when you go upside down. Here’s the flow information for the Salmon River and 4500 to 5500 cfs is perfect. Cheers from the Salmon Rapids Lodge in Riggins, Idaho.
