I got the Call from River guide Andrew Colvin-Smith. It used to be smith but his wife wears the pants and he got it hyphenated. I think his daughter has like 6 names so we started off the trip abusing his choice of names and questioned of course in usual fashon his ligitamcy as a male. The trip we were taken was to a little known River 2 hours north of North bay called Englehart River, which lunges over a sweet 30 footer , and runs through rock outcrops and deep ravines. All this is located at Kap-Kig-Iwan (meaning waterfalls in Ojibway) has day use facilities, and is frequented by birdwatchers, anglers and hikers. But the sweet part about this river is it runs ALL SUMMER LONG!!!!!!!!

The Parks location is easy look up Englehart and start driving. You can call the park (705) 235-1353 from October to April. I would just hike up the river right anc check em out. NOTE to the hucksters, Not sure what Parks Canada thinks about waterfall hucksters, there are varous sizes and its a great place to check out. But be discreate.
