After our great West Cherry mission, most of the crew had to return to work in Mount Shasta, six hours north of our current location, and with the only vehicles on hand. Ben and I carpooled back, planning to spend some time running errands and taking care of business back home, but once we arrived a quick phone call with our great friend Taylor Robertson confirmed that Dinkey Creek was back in, so we had to go get it again. Loading up my trusty old truck, Ben and I headed into the seven or eight hour drive down to Fresno to meet with Taylor and Corey Boux. Flows would be lower this time, and the river was busy with some groups from the southeast. We put on later in the afternoon and jetted down to some awesome rapids and great camping. Photos can’t do the quality of Dinkey justice, but it was awesome to see this run again and so soon!
