With a sunny, 40 degree day, we loaded up the Dynamic Duo and a few Heroes and headed to the Upper Caney Fork. The Caney Fork is a sweet remote class 3/4 run in a spectacular gorge with some scary rocks, and quality moves! This was the first real river run for the Dynamic Duo, so Clay and Dane were initially a little uncertain as to what to expect. I was extremely hopeful that they would get worked several times, with a pin and swim thrown-in for my entertainment (assuming that they’d be ok, of course). Unfortunately for me–but fortunately for them–the Duo proved to be rediculously easy to paddle and they aced all the lines. It was fun to watch them run most of the normal slots and come screaming off the boof half-way down! I got a few photos near the top of the run, but we were pushing daylight, so we just booked the lower half. We had a great group of friends, great water, and a great day on a beautiful river! I’ll let the photos do the talking.
