Mission: The Factory faces of Jackson Kayak by Will Richardson | Mar 13, 2009 | Whitewater | 0 comments Photos By Billy Harris I often just take for granted the boat I paddle was paid for and built by others at a cost to others. I very rarely think about the people who put their time and energy into each touch, finish, and bracket grab handle. Nothing overlooked and plenty of pride. Brackets, seats, bulk heads the boats don’t just pop out of the mould they are assembled by people nice people. Real people built these boats good people. People with kids, with families, dogs and personalities. They drive to work in pimped out rides with huge rims, and in little geo Trackers with car seats in them. There’s a jujutsu instructor, skate boarders, pinball fanatics, moms and dads, dad’s to be, cave explorers a lot of pretty cool people. People of all walks personalities and interests. I don’t know everyone at the JK factory, The people in these photos are the people that put the boats together, mould, ship, trim inspect and keep the factory selling boats. These are the faces, the hands and the reason we get to surf. Submit a Comment Cancel replyYour email address will not be published.
