This email came to me today from Mark Bersani, owner of Loveland Canoe and Kayak. It’s so nice to have our retailers and outfitters behind our business and willing to send in notes like this. Bottom line, outfitters are where a ton of people get their first exposure to kayaking and Mark offers top notch service and products for his clients. It’s businesses like his that help make kayaking accessible to the masses. If you are in the area, be sure to stop by for a paddle!


I wanted to thank you for the great service provided by the team at Jackson Kayak. As livery owners we look for partners that:

1. Understand our business and our customer’s needs

2. Supply high quality, livery tough products that are functional and able to stand the wear and tear of daily rentals

3. Provide responsive customer service and stand by their products

We have found Jackson Kayak to be exemplary in all three areas. Our customers love the Daytripper kayaks we have in our fleet since they are stable, responsive and fun to paddle. The Daytrippers are ideal kayaks for enjoying a lake or river, catching some rays or even fishing – their versatility is incredible. The Daytripper 12 is a particular favorite since it easily accommodates any size adult as well as a child or dog as an additional passenger. The MiniTripper has been a big hit with the young paddler that is ready for their own kayak but not yet ready to paddle a full sized version. We love to see the huge smiles on the faces of our young customers when we bring out the kayak made just for them – parents love them too!

We are excited about the new products being launched in 2009. The Riviera is ideally suited for livery use since it provides outstanding function and superior toughness. The All-Water looks to be a versatile vessel that can easily move from a lake to a river and even handle some nice waves. We look forward to adding these to our fleet and introducing them to our customers.

From a service perspective Jackson has been a fantastic company to work with – always ready to answer our questions, respond to our needs or to provide the extra-value advice that enables us to take great care of our customers.
