With all the rain though out the summer the water levels have come
up, and to everyone’s surprise Buseater came is in August.

Even though it was a low water Buseater I couldn’t help myself, and
not wanting to waist such a rare commodity, I left work Thursday
night and drove to Buseater.

I arrived at 4 o’clock and there were only four other people in the
eddy. In the next two hours 30 people showed up to get their fix.
After two hours of surfing, and the fact that I was tired and it was
already dark out, I decided to call it quits for the day.

Friday morning the whole Ottawa Valley woke up expecting to get a
ride on the Bus, though to our astonishment, the levels had dropped
slightly and the Bus had left.

I’m glad that I got my yearly fix, even though it was only for two
hours and a kind of foamy level, you won’t hear any complaining from me.

Here is a quick little video from my two-hour session.
