Huck Southeast was awesome. My expectations were to go boating on some of the classic whitewater rivers in the Southeast, and it exceeded my expectations dramatically. We were able to get on the Tellico waterfalls, Ocoee Olympic and Lower Section, New River twice, Upper Gauly, Green River Runoff and the middle waterfall of triple falls. All this in a week, which meant a whole lot of driving, and whole lot of paddling! We even sneaked in a rescue training package too. I don’t think we could have packed more in that week, in fact I know we couldn’t, it was just such an amazing experience. Check out the pictures below.

Andrew Holcombe really helped out the program, such an awesome instructor. We are already planning Huck next year, and thinking of heading out west so stay tuned.

On a side note, here is something very random. I got bored one day waiting for water to arrive at the Penrith Whitewater Stadium so this video is what happens when you have a camera, a slackline and two hours of boredom.
