Spring Tune-Up

Howdy all….Todd Braswell (Shoal Tide) with the Jackson Kayak Fishing Team here. With the fantastic weather we have been having in GA the past week….I had to get out on the river to check out the status on the bass. Water temps are rising…ever so slowly, however, the bass are not prowling the shallows in large numbers just yet. One thing about late winter/early spring fishing is that when you get a bite its usually a good one. Here are a couple of nice ones I caught…..both came in deeper, eddy pockets near shallow flats…..football jig crawled slowly on the bottom did the trick.
