The Coosa’s Maiden River Voyage in IL

This past Wednesday saw myself, and fellow Coosa owner and fishing team member, Jim Jozwiak on the Vermilion River in Central Illinois. It was my first official river trip in the Coosa. All I can say is , WOW! The boat handled beautifully and was so comfortable to fish out of. Though neither Jim nor I stood up (this will come later when we have lower and warmer water levels), the boat fishes excellent from the elevated sitting position. As you can see, we even caught a few smallies. Not big, but not bad for late March in IL. The big ones will be showing up shortly
